Rabat- The family of Moroccan journalist and popular radio host, Khadija Sifi, is grieving her death as a result of a fatal heart attack Saturday night.
Kahdija Sifi, a journalist and radio host with Radio Atlantic died on Saturday night after suffering a heart attack. While the journalist was rushed to hospital immediately, it was too late to save her and was pronounced dead on arrival.
The young journalist had presented the radio program, "Houriytak" (Your Freedom), a show in which listeners could interact and offer their opinions on the issues of everyday life in Morocco. She was noted for her openness and for the opportunity for freedom of speech that she gave to her listeners.
Ms. Sifi, who had suffered from heart problems in the past, was six months pregnant and leaves behind a husband and four-year old daughter.
