According to the Moroccan daily Al Massae, Morocco signed last week an agreement with the Saudi Arabia to set up a common data platform for job creation that aims primarily to facilitate the integration of the Moroccan qualified labor force in the Saudi job market.
The Saudi minister of employment Mr. Adil al Fakih expressed his commitment to consolidate all efforts to exchange expertise and qualified labor force with Morocco.
The Moroccan minister of employment and vocational training Abdel Wahel Souheil agreed with his Saudi fellow to match the demand for manpower in Saudi Arabia with the job demands in Morocco.
The Minister added that the data platform will enable Morocco and Saudi Arabia to exchange information and data about the job opportunities available in the Saudi job market as well as the profiles of Moroccan professionals.
The Saudi minister of employment expressed the readiness of his country to provide a favorable environment to integrate the Moroccan labor force, recalling the quality of the bilateral relations between Morocco and Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting held in Geneva in the margins of the annual conference of the International Organization for Labor, the Saudi minister expressed his desire to benefit from the Moroccan experience in the monitoring and coaching of job seekers.
