New York - The annual international summer Fancy Food Show, North America’s largest specialty food and beverage event, kicked off Sunday in New York City.
With more than 2,500 exhibitors this year from 80 countries all over the world, the show features a lavish Moroccan Pavilion highlighting a dozen or so Moroccan companies exhibiting a variety of gourmet food products ranging from extra virgin Moroccan olive oil, sauces for tagines, Argan oil and products, preserves and condiments, to frozen fish.
In addition to the individual tastings offered by the many exhibitors, among the many educational offerings during the three-day show is the International Olive Oil School’s session on “Understanding Olive Oil.”
The show runs June 29 through July 1, 2014, at the Jacob Javits Center.
