Marrakech - It seems that some of our moments remain a lifetime experiences, especially when they are about to make us heroes.
This is what happened to the Chilean football striker, Mauricio Pinilla, after he missed his last goal attempt against Brazil in the knock out stage of the World Cup 2014.
Pinilla’s shot in the extra-time hits the cross-bar and was close enough to score the winning goal for his national team.
Pinilla deems that moment to be a great memory, and decided to recall this missed chance by drawing a tattoo on his lower back featuring the ball hitting the cross bar, and noting “ One centimetre from glory."
The game finished on penalty shoot-outs (3-2) and puts Brazil ahead to the quarter finals. Chile, on the other hand, displayed well with extraordinary performances during the group stage, beating Australia (3-1) and Spain (2-0) respectively, and losing to the Netherlands (0-2).
