Fez - After the Israeli army's ten day invasion of a town known as Khoza’a, Al Jazeera Arabic reported that the town has been completely destroyed and that the resulting damage was catastrophic.
About 20 dead have been left to decay under what is left of the town's buildings. Lacking medical equipment and external emergency assistance, survivors assumed the responsibility of extracting the bodies from the rubble.
According to the reporter, “the situation was extremely cruel and incomprehensible, the town underwent a disastrous genocide.” The genocide's victims included children as well as the elderly.
The destruction has been a calamity for the people of the town who witness the cadavers thrown about in Khoza’a. As stated by one of the responders while carrying a corpse, “we found Ahmed Salem, an 18-year-old, under a heap of rubble and his body is decaying.” He continues, “he remained under backfill for 10 days.
A weeping woman retells her experiences, “the situation is awfully tragic, everybody died, and the buildings are all demolished, my children have died in the building there, and I have to recover them, but I’m not sure of my return.”
Many lives were lost in the attempt to flee the town which was equated to a severe earthquake. The attack has inflamed the people of Khoza’a and has brought them out of silence.
A part of Al Jazeera's records indicate the existence of what was called “slaughterhouse” where a number of boys were assassinated by the Israeli army. The bodies were gathered in a toilet of a house.

Most demoralizing is the absence of relief or a medical care for those affected.
