Casablanca - After worldwide protests against CNN, BBC, and other international media giants for their biased coverage of the Israeli massacre in Gaza, George Galloway, the Respect Party MP for Bradford West, has declared his intention to lead a public enquiry against the UK's BBC.
Hundreds of British citizens protested in Manchester and at BBC's headquarters in London against the BBC's 'pro-Israel bias', after numerous denunciatory campaigns on social media.
On Tuesday, July 15, a letter from the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Stop the War Coalition, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, and other NGOs was presented to the Director General of the BBC.
Few days ago, MP George Galloway declared his unwillingness to pay his subscription due to BBC's biased standpoint on the Gazan massacre, of which he constantly voice his disapproval. He asserted that the enterprise in question must depict the conflict objectively, since it is publically funded.
According to the Respect Party's official website, George Galloway has announce that he will set up his own public enquiry that will investigate the role that BBC played in its coverage of the war in Gaza.
