Marrakech - Real Madrid fans from the Arab World will no longer follow the club’s news in foreign languages. Arabic has been added to seven other languages on the team’s official website.
El Merengue’s official Facebook page announced the integration of the Arabic language into its official website on August 8, noting in Arabic: “Today we launch the Arabic version on our official website, we hope you all like it!”
By adding Arabic to the club’s official page on the internet, thousands of fans from the Arab world can now check news in Arabic, obtain updated information and more easily interact with the team.
Real Madrid’s aim is to broaden the image of the football and basketball club to foster its publicity, especially in the MENA region where the club is very popular with fans of all ages.
Similar to other languages on the website, the Arabic version will contain a news feed about Real Madrid, information on the team’s history, trophies and a calendar showing scores of recent matches as well as the dates for future ones.
The new page includes also a fan zone, an online shop and a ticket-purchase portal, in addition to other notifications about the Real Madrid Basketball club.
