Rabat- In an interview with the Doha-based beIN Sport, Badou Zaki, the couch of Moroccan national football team, left the door open for Adel Taarabt, striker of Queen Park Rangers, to join the National team.
“Taarabt is a great player and the door of the national team is open for him, provided that he reconsiders the way he behaved with the former coaches,” Zaki said.
Taarabat was left out of the national team ahead of its training camp in Portugal last May.
To explain his decision to leave the mercurial striker out of the team, Zaki said that Taarabt did not answer his phone calls.
“Taarabt was left out because he did not respond to any of the calls made by the coach and the crew,” said Badou Zaki in a press conference held in Rabat.
After he played on loan with Fulham, then to AC. Milan last season, Taarabat returned to Queens Park Rangers.
