Fez - U.S. Ambassador Dwight L. Bush, Sr. participated in a blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Moroccan National Center for Blood Transfusion at the American Club in Rabat.
The campaign was conducted in response to the national blood shortage in Morocco.
The campaign came after the National Center for Blood Transfusion which made an urgent request, calling on Moroccan citizens to volunteer and make blood donations to meet the increased need for blood in certain Moroccan cities.
The Ambassador's gesture is a reflection of the spirit and values of solidarity between Moroccan, American and international communities living in Morocco.
"We are hearing giving blood today, in response to the urgent call launched by the National Center for Blood Transfusion," Said Ambassador Dwight L. Bush.
"My colleagues and I decided to meet this call to demonstrate our support for the Moroccan people which is very important for us," he added.
