Rabat – Moroccan authorities last week dismantled a network specializing in filming pornographic films.
The network included Moroccan nationals and was headed by a French who work in the pornographic industry, according to the Moroccan daily Al Masse.
According to the same source, the dismantling of the network occurred after the investigation of a complaint by the French network boss who owned a hotel in Tameslouht, south of Marrakech.
The boss lodged a complaint accusing his driver of abducting him and stealing his car. In the investigation that ensued, the police interviewed the driver, who denied the allegations against him, saying they were slander and part of a revenge orchestrated against him by his employer.
The driver claimed to have refused to pose naked at the request of his boss or to act in pornographic movies that the French national was shooting in Marrakech.
According to the same source, the driver’s claims proved to be real following the investigation carried out by the police. The police concluded that the driver had neither kidnapped his employer nor stolen his car.
The testimony of an employee of the hotel supported the claims levelled by the driver against his employee.
While the two men were both placed in custody for the purposes of the investigation, the hotel owner finally admitted that he was in the business of making pornographic films, before delivering to investigators excerpts from his work, scenes featuring women engaged in sexual acts.
