Rabat- The Moroccan Ministry of Sports has reportedly sent a written response to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Saturday.

The response will decide, once and for all, whether Morocco will stage the 2015 African Cup of Nations on the planned dates or stick to its preliminary decision of postponing the tournament until mid-2015 or the beginning of 2016 over fears of the Ebola virus.

Morocco was given until November 8 to make a final decision regarding the issue following a meeting between CAF's executive committee and Moroccan officials from the organizing committee in the capital city of Rabat.

According to media reports, Morocco has expressed in the letter addressed to CAF the kingdom's readiness to host the 2015 Afcon. Yet, recommendations from the World Health Organization and the Scientific Committee made Morocco cautious of a potential Ebola outbreak.

Moroccan Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohamed Ouzzine confirmed on Friday that Morocco will not change its position regarding the request to postpone the thirtieth edition of the African Cup of Nations.

He also said that Morocco will not succumb to the pressures of CAF, adding that organizing such big competitions will put the health of Moroccan citizens at risk.

CAF is expected to respond to Morocco's decision next Tuesday.
