Rabat - A Saudi-American consortium led by Saudi company Knowledge Corner (KC), announced on Saturday the signing of an agreement with the province of Taroudant and the regional investment center of Souss Massa Draa (CRI). The agreement will result in the launching of investments estimated at $1.3 billion in the Taroudant region.
According to media24 news website, the Saudi-American project will be spanning over an area of 8, 7 million square meters and will include an amusement park, hotels, restaurants, medical facilities and real estate projects.
The same source went on to highlight that the Amusement park will be run by an internationally known American brand and it is expected to attract as many as 2 million visitors a year.
Projected to be built on an area of 650 acres, the amusement park will include hotels of three and four stars, in addition to restaurants and a golf course.
The agreement was signed by the owner of KC Khaled Al Dosary and from the Moroccan side, the Governor of Taroudant Fouad Mhamdi and the director of CRI Nazih Khalil.
