Rabat - Champions League winners Real Madrid will be indeed treated as royals upon their arrival in Morocco. The Los Blancos will arrive on December 14th to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup scheduled to take place in Rabat and Marrakech from 10 to 20 December.
According to daily newspaper Al Akhbar in its December 8th issue, the representative of the European continent and the team most likely to lift the FIFA Club World Cup trophy, will be escorted by at least 40 security agents during the entire competition.
Departures and returns of Real Madrid to the different hotels and training fields will be closely watched by the Moroccan authorities. The newspaper added that five of those security agents will be dedicated solely to the team's talisman and two-time Ballon D'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real Madrid, who are eyeing their fourth title this season after winning the Champions League, Copa Del Rey and the European Super Cup, are very popular in Morocco. This popularity is of a major concern for the Moroccan authorities who will have to double their efforts to ensure the safety of the Spanish giants.
In the same context, local media reports suggested that the Four Seasons hotel in Marrakech was totally booked by Real Madrid for the duration of their stay in the red city.
