Rabat - French engineering company and technology consulting firm Altran has appointed Meryem Chami as the head of its Moroccan subsidiary.
At the age of 39, Meryem Chami left the Office Cherifien des Phosphates (OCP) to lead the Moroccan subsidiary of the French multinational Altran technologies.
Previously Director of Purchasing and Information at Attijariwafa Bank, Meryem Chami was also appointed a member of Altran Executive Committee.
Born in 1976 in Fez, she was OCP's Executive Director in charge of planning, managerial and transformation program.
Chami is a telecom engineer with an MBA from L'Ecole Hassania des Traveaux Public and holds a degree in business management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Altran Technologies specializes in science and technology, and it is listed on the Paris stock exchange.
The French company develops solutions for the aerospace, railways, energy, space and defense.
