Rabat- Morocco has dropped six positions in the latest FIFA world ranking of international teams.
The Moroccan national team has slipped to the 88th position in the February ranking, right between El Salvador and Cyprus.
Morocco was also ranked 24th in the African continent behind teams like Uganda, Sierra Leon and Benin.
Following the decision of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to suspend Morocco from participating in continental competitions for the next four years, the national team’s FIFA ranking is not likely to improve any time soon.
