Rabat- Princess Lalla Salma, president of the Lalla Salma Foundation for the prevention and treatment of cancers, arrived in Doha on Monday evening to take part in the 2nd World Innovative Summit for Health (WISH, Feb.17-18) at the invitation of Cheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned, chairwoman of the administrative board of Qatar's Foundation for education, sciences and community development.
Held at the initiative of the Qatar's Foundation for Education, sciences and community development, the summit will discuss several themes related to "communication of complex issues related to health" extending care to patients suffering from cancer at affordable prices" "dementia: supporting and treating sick people", "health and ethics: genomics", "diabetes prevention", "children mental health and well-being", "patients' security", "maternal and neonatal health", and "comprehensive medical coverage".
Several heads of State, cabinet members, academics, and health experts from several countries will show up to debate lasting and innovative formulas to take on health challenges.
