Casablanca - Morocco’s 10th International Agriculture Fair (SIAM 2015) will be held in Meknes from April 28th to May 3rd, with the participation of more than a thousand exhibitors from around 55 countries.
The theme of the fair will be based on “agriculture and food systems,” and will be held under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI.
Organizers have expressed that the event will bring together leading farmers, professionals and experts from the agricultural world. These individuals will exchange their best practices, as well as introduce new ideas, in order to develop and improve Morocco’s agriculture.
Some 1200 exhibitors will take part in SIAM 2015, which is expected to bring in nearly one million visitors.
The fair will stretch over a surface area of 172,000 square meters, with 9 different thematic zones. Different areas will be dedicated to regions of Morocco, institutions, and sponsors. Other areas will be used to display products, machines, livestock, agri-food, as well as space for international exhibitors.
A variety of conferences and roundtables will be included at the event, along with livestock farming competitions.
