Rabat - With a view to democratizing educational services and providing equal opportunities for all Moroccan students, the Ministry of Education has launched a project to videotape lessons.
The Ministry has invited teachers and directors of schools, academies, and regional delegations to submit a tender to participate.
Video courses will be presented by selected instructors on a voluntary basis. The Ministry of Education will train the volunteers for two days, and then they can start videotaping lessons outside official school hours.
The videos will be required to follow specific standards; for instance, they may not exceed 15 minutes in length. After the approval of a coordinating team, the videos will be published on the Ministry’s WebTV and will be categorized according to their academic cycle and educational level, subjects, and curriculum.
Making the most of the growing use of the Internet, the Ministry is trying to provide multiple educational resourses for students. This program opens doors for them to improve their levels and skills, especially for those who cannot afford private lessons.
