Rabat - Morocco is the third best destination for French retirees, according to research conducted by consulting firm MySilverWay.
The kingdom is preceded by Portugal and Spain as the destinations most preferred by French senior citizens for retirement.
According to MySilverWay ranking, Morocco is a land of great cultural heritage, history and art.
The consulting firm added that the cost of living is relatively low in Morocco even though prices may vary depending on many parameters such as region, city, season as well as the pensioner's lifestyle and consumption.
Many French nearing pension age find Morocco as an appealing destination of retiring overseas, mainly due to its inexpensive living, interesting things to do and tax breaks.
