Rabat - The means to promote cooperation in the field of training in jobs pertaining to the aviation and aeronautic industry were at the heart of a meeting, on Wednesday in Rabat, between transport Minister Mohamed Najib Boulif and senior managers of the leading airplane manufacturer Boeing.
On top of the agenda of the meeting were cooperation in economic systems of the aviation industry as well as civil aviation jobs, a statement of the Ministry delegate in charge of transport said.
On this occasion, Boulif hailed the solid relations between Morocco’s flag carrier, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), and Boeing.
Boulif also highlighted the competitive advantage of Morocco as a hub for the aviation industry.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to add fresh impetus to the strategic partnership in order to enable Morocco to foster its position in terms of civil aviation and aeronautical training.
The meeting was notably attended by Boeing President for Turkey and North Africa Bernard Dunn and Senior Manager, Strategy, Marketing and Business Development at the Boeing US Jeff Cooper in addition to other senior executives.
