Rabat - King Mohammed VI is expected to make an official visit to a number of African countries.
According to French-speaking Magazine Jeune Afrique, the royal cabinet is preparing an African tour of King Mohammed VI that will take him to several sub-Saharan countries.
The same source said that the monarch's expected visit was preceded by working visits of Minister of Foreign Affairs Salaheddine Mezouar and Finance Minister Mohamed Boussaid to Senegal, Guinea, Ivory Coast and Gabon.
The visit of King Mohammed VI to the four African countries is meant to assess the progress of the partnership initiatives launched in recent years, Jeune Afrique said.
In 2013 and 2014, Mohammed VI had already made official visits to Senegal, Ivory Coast and Gabon.
