Rabat- King Mohammed VI of Morocco was named “personality of the year for family cohesion” by the Arab Family Award.
The award was bestowed on the Moroccan monarch in "recognition of his efforts and initiatives for boosting family security and safety and promoting social justice" in Morocco.
“The choice of King Mohammed VI, King of the Kingdom of Morocco, Personality of the Year for Family Coherence in its third session, is in recognition of his constructive efforts and initiatives in the arena of family, his interest in the maintenance of security and family safety in Morocco, the establishment of community justice throughout the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as his tireless efforts to achieve social balance,” Jamal bin Obaid Al Bah, Chairman of AFO said.
“King Mohammed VI is a reference in the Arab world for his venerable initiatives and humanitarian services,” he added.
