Rabat- The Moroccan-American Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange (MACECE) has launched the Fulbright Program for Moroccan English Teachers to teach Arabic in the United States.
This scholarship covers transportation and living expenses, making it one of the most important scholarships that Moroccan English teachers can apply for to teach Arabic in the US.
Fulbright Morocco announced the competition for the FY 2016 Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship (FLTA) Program.
This competition targets public and private school English teachers and those who are in training to become English teachers.
The program is a great opportunity for English teachers to teach Arabic at an American university and benefit from the FLTA’s advantages, such as the improvement of English language and teaching skills and exposure to American society and culture.
Furthermore, the participants will facilitate cultural events and language clubs, and will be involved in extracurricular activities and community outreach projects.
FLTA aims to reinforce Arabic foreign language instruction by establishing a native speaker presence at US educational institutions.
The scholarship’s application deadline is August 7, 2015.
