Dakar - Senegal is pleased to welcome King Mohammed VI, "a distinguished guest" who starts on Wednesday a work and friendship visit to Dakar, said Senegal's president Macky Sall.
The Senegalese head of state who arrived on Tuesday night in Accra to take part in the 47th summit of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) told the press several agreements will be signed between Morocco and Senegal.
"Almost no sector has been left out," he added, underlining that bilateral ties are exceptional, sound and based on trust.
King Mohammed VI is expected this Wednesday in Dakar, first leg of an African tour that will also include Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon and Guinea Bissau.
An important delegation will accompany the King is accompanied during this visit, including Prince Moulay Ismail and the King's advisors Fouad Ali El Himma and Yassir Zenagui.
The delegation also includes foreign minister Salaheddine Mezouar, endowments and Islamic affairs minister Ahmed Toufiq, economy minister Mohamed Boussaid, agriculture and sea fisheries minister Aziz Akhannouch, equipment, transportation and logistics minister Aziz Rabbah, industry, trade, investment and digital economy minister Moulay Hafid El Alamy, health minister El Hossein El Ouardi, energy, mining, water and environment minister Abdelkader Aamara, tourism minister Lahcen Haddad, and handicraft minister Fatema Marouane.
The Moroccan monarch will also be accompanied by several heads of public and semi-public institutions, businessmen and other figures.
