Rabat - A police officer is facing charges after being arrested for drugs possession.
A Meknes Police officer was arrested Wednesday for possession of drugs, according to a statement from the General Directorate for National Security (DGSN).
The accused officer was found with 500 grams of cannabis. His supplier was also arrested in the outskirts of Fez and taken into custody, according to the same source.
The two were remanded in custody and are being investigated under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor.
