Rabat - A two-year-old child was killed in a tragic accident on Wednesday in Tiznit, southern Morocco.
The baby died after he slipped inside a washing machine as it went through a full washing cycle, daily newspaper Al Akhbar reported.
The mother reportedly launched the spin cycle without realizing that her baby was inside the washing machine.
The infant had gone through a full spin cycle before he was discovered by his mother who was not aware how the baby ended up in the washing machine.
When the busy mother opened the washing machine door she found the baby mixed in with the clothes.
The desperate mother started screaming at the sight of her unresponsive child. Her screaming attracted the attention of neighbors who alerted the authorities.
The baby was taken to the hospital after he was pulled out of the washing machine, but he was already dead on arrival at hospital.
