Tinejdad - An organization referred to as Reclaim Australia, along with some far right activists held anti-Islam demonstrations in major Australian cities, on Sunday.
Some 150 Reclaim Australian activists took to Sydney’s Martin Place on Sunday to protest against what they called the Islamization of the country. Some of them were wearing Spartan outfits.
Reclaim Australia said that the protest was "a public response to Islamic extremism and minority groups who wish to change the identity of the Australian nation.” It was also “a reaction to the recent atrocities of radical Islam in Australia and abroad.”

In spite of the fact that Muslims only represent about 2 percent of Australians, protesters who stood with the Muslim community and rallied against racism reportedly outnumbered those anti-Muslim groups.
