Ramallah - Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas lauded King Mohammed VI's efforts for the Palestinian cause, underlining the sovereign's unwavering support for Palestine.
Abbas, who was speaking at a reception on Thursday by Morocco's ambassador in Ramallah Mohamed Hamzaoui on the occasion of throne day, surveyed the honorable positions by the Kingdom in favor of Palestine, recalling efforts made by late king Hassan II to serve the Palestinian cause.
He also said that he is glad to share the joy of the Moroccan people on the occasion of throne day, underlining the solid ties between Morocco and Palestine.
These ties are unswerving and will remain as such until the Palestinian people recover all their rights, which are also advocated by the Moroccan people, he said.
