Rabat - Following the issuance of a prime ministerial order, a special booth will be made available at public institutions and municipalities across the country for Moroccans living abroad.
The initiative aims to facilitate access to services and alleviate long waits. It also aims to reduce administrative burdens and help Moroccans living abroad save time and effort.
Speaking to news website Hespress, Anis Birou, Minister in Charge of Moroccans living abroad and migration affairs, said that Moroccans living abroad will be able to get their requested documents in a short time, adding that the initiative will be extended to all administrative institutions which are most frequented by members of the Moroccan diaspora.
"We will not accept that Moroccans living abroad spend their entire holiday travel between administrative departments," he said. "That's why we moved to make things easier and allow them to enjoy and spend their vacation in good conditions."
This initiative is part of a series of immediate and urgent measures scheduled on the very short term.
The measures will be carried out by the Ministry in Charge of Moroccans living abroad and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in conformity with the Royal instructions contained in the speech delivered by King Mohammed VI on the 16th anniversary of his accession to the Throne.
The measures will touch on human resources and interaction with the Moroccan community living abroad.
