Rabat - Security services at the Casablanca's Mohammed V airport arrested, on Saturday in two separate operations, two Guinea-Bissau's nationals coming from south America for possessing 21 kg of cocaine, said a statement by national police body (DGSN).
Investigations conducted by police services enabled to seize a portion of the drug (18kg) in boxes for cosmetic products hidden in the first suspect's luggage, while the remaining 3kg was found in a suitcase belonging to the second culprit, the source said.
The accused arrived in Morocco using forged passports and IDs and were planning to leave the country the same day, one heading for Bissau and the other for Liberia's capital.
The two culprits were remanded in custody upon the order of the public prosecutor, and will be brought to justice afterwards.
