Rabat - A group of people near the rural commune of Ketama in the Taounate region of Morocco surrounded two gendarmerie officers on Tuesday while inside their personal car.
There were conflicting accounts regarding the reasons to why local inhabitants surrounded the two law enforcement officers.
However, some media reports said the officers were surrounded by angry residents for alleged corruption involving sums of cash.
The people allegedly stopped the car of the Gendarmerie officers and upon searching it they found white arms and MAD10, 000 in cash.
