Fez- Frank Ribery, the French player of Bayern Munich called on Moroccan fans to support its team in its upcoming match against Guanghzou Evergrande from China in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup taking place in Morocco from 11 through December.
Speaking to the press on Sunday evening in Agadir, Ribery highlighted the warm welcome offered by Moroccan fans to his team and call on them to support it on Tuesday.
“We had a fantastic welcome, people do their best to make us feel good and we will try to please the Moroccan people. I hope they will be there this Tuesday to support us,” the French player said.
He went to say that he and his teammates are happy to be in Morocco, adding that it is a good for Morocco to have teams like Bayern Munich play on its soil.
Regarding the tournament, he said that his team came to Morocco to win the World Cup. This is the first time that Bayern Munich takes part in the FIFA Club World Cup.
