Marrakech - The head of the international football federation (FIFA), Joseph Sepp Blatter, said on Wednesday in Marrakech that Morocco’s Raja of Casablanca has “entered history”.
"Raja has entered history," said Joseph Sepp Blatter on Wednesday morning at the opening of the 3rd edition of Foot Expo Forum in Marrakech.
After its win on Saturday against Monterrey, which qualified it to the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup, Raja of Casablanca became the first Moroccan and Arab team to reach this stage of the tournament.
The Moroccan team is playing in these moments against Brazil’s Atletic Mineir for a ticket for the final of the cup. Moroccans all are hopeful that Raja players will replicate the same style of play and combativeness they showed last Saturday and beat the Brazilian team.
