Oujda - The Al Wafa social development association welcomed, Tuesday in Oujda, 27 Syrian refugees turned back by the Algerian authorities towards the national territory through a border point located 600 meters away from the "Zouj Bghal" border post, at the rural commune of Ahl Angad (Oujda Angad prefecture).
In a statement, the association said that it welcomed and provided, as part of its humanitarian action, accommodation, food and health care for these refugees, including 11 kids, a newborn and 10 women.
It is worth mentioning that a Moroccan women cooperative “la Fondation Orient-Occident” – Orient-Occident Foundation – is currently offering professional training and an opportunity to earn a decent living to hundreds of refugees from the trouble spots of the Middle East and Africa who end up in Morocco.
