Taroudant - According to Aeronautique, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and the Federal National Council of the followers of the “Tariqa” Tijania (Confenat), a spiritual way of Islam, in Mali signed a partnership agreement Saturday in Bamako.
The convention allows the followers of the Tariqa Tijania (Confenat) in Mali, approximately 7 million members, to benefit from special discounts for Royal Air Maroc flights, linking Bamako to the city of Fez, where the historic leader of the “Tariqa” Tijania, Al Imam Abul Abbas Ahmad Ibn Mohammad Chaikhana At-Tijani Ash Sharif, is buried.
The CEO of RAM, Driss Benhima, who co-signed the agreement with the Secretary General of Confenat Alhousseiny Diakité, explained that the agreement provides for an offer to “Confenat” members, to facilitate flights between the Moroccan city of Fez and Bamako.
For its part, the Secretary General of the “Confenat” said that this agreement would allow devotees of the Tariqa Tijania in Mali transport facilities, travel and accommodation when traveling to visit the “Zaouiya” Tajinia in Fez, “which today remains a center of congregation for Tijanis around the world”.
