Morocco donates cars to Cote D’Ivoire’s National Assembly

Taroudant - Morocco donated cars to the Ivorian National Assembly Tuesday in the context of king Mohamed VI’s visit to Côte d'Ivoire.

According to Maghreb Arab Press, the Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Economy, Moulay Hafid Elalamy chaired Tuesday in Abidjan, with the President of the Ivorian National Assembly, Mr. Guillaume Soro, the ceremony of handing over the keys of a number of cars donated by Morocco to the National Assembly of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.

The Moroccan minister described the cooperation as important and symbolic saying that “today we are going through an important, symbolic and historic moment in South-South cooperation."

For his part, Guillaume Soro said that the “relations between the two countries are in constant development, under the impetus of the leaders of both countries, who are animated by the common desire to make fraternity the foundation of a true partnership in all areas.”

in the context of the royal visit to a number of Sub-Saharan African countries, Morocco launched a number of programs and signed partnerships aiming at developing the south-south cooperation with its African counterparts.
