2nd Business Development Conference to Enhance Morocco-US Economic Relations

Rabat - U.S. and Moroccan business and government leaders will assemble at the 2nd Morocco-US Business Development Conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in Rabat, Morocco on March 10th  and 11th.

Aiming to educate the Moroccan and U.S. business communities about opportunities for doing business together, the two-day event will offer American companies an in-depth look at trade and investment opportunities in Morocco, according the press release.

The conference will bring together some of the top private and public-sector leaders from both countries in automotive and aeronautics manufacturing, renewable energy technologies, and other key industries

With a strategic location between Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Morocco hopes to boost its status as one of the closest trading partner to the U.S. in the MENA region. Morocco is looking is to create opportunities for franchise businesses as more and more malls open in major cities. Morocco is also a cost-competitive platform for trade and production thanks to its world-class infrastructure.

The Business Development Conference was launched as part of the US-Morocco Strategic Dialogue process established between these two historic allies in 2012. This year also marks the final year for full implementation of the Morocco-US Free Trade Agreement signed between the two countries in 2006.
