Casablanca- On March 13th at the Kenzi tower in Casablanca, Eaton will hold a Technology Day about data centers’ security solutions and electrical distribution.

This event will be an opportunity to showcase the company’s complete range of electrical systems and products that enable its customers to manage power in an efficient, reliable and safe way. The Eaton Technology day will have the participation of many European experts who will lead several workshops in order to show the company’s Moroccan customers, the latest in electrical equipment.

“Throughout this event, Eaton wants to share with its Moroccan partners its latest innovations, advanced solutions that are a result of the continuous optimization of our products,” said Kassem Benhaddou, General Manager North and French Africa.

Since 2007, Eaton has a leading position in the market and is considered as a reference. Representing a strategic development for the corporation, the regional office for North and West Africa, based in Casablanca, relies on a team of over 20 people, including 10 officers. In 5 years, it has tripled its turn over through a strong presence in several sectors (food, pharmaceutical, automotive, aerospace, renewable energy and phosphates).

In addition, to further consolidate its presence in Morocco, the company signed, at Paris Air Show in June 2013, a memorandum to transfer part of its production to the new industrial platform Midparc.

The opening of the new Eaton facility, which required an investment of $4 million and will create 100 new jobs by the end of 2014 is expected in a few months. It will be a main production center in aerospace and electronics industries in Morocco and Africa.

The new plant’s project comes just after the acquisition by the industrial conglomerate of Irish society Cooper Industries in 2012 for $ 11.8 billion (8.85 billion EUR).

Eaton is a diversified power management company providing energy-efficient solutions that help its customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power. A global technology leader, Eaton acquired Cooper Industries plc in November 2012.

The 2012 revenue of the combined companies was $21.8 billion on a pro forma basis. Eaton has approximately 103,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.
