Rabat - The video, which went viral last May, shows the human side of Novak Djokovic, one of the greatest tennis players of all time. The Serbian player invited a ball boy to seek shelter under an umbrella during a rain delay last May and shared a drink with him.
This courteous move from Djokovic contrasts a big deal with the arrogance shown by Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo, during the final of the FIFA Club World Cup, which was held on Saturday in Marrakech.
In a move that elicited criticism from fans worldwide, the Portuguese player initially ignored Morocco’s Prince Moulay Hassan, who presided over the tournament’s final match.
In a video that went viral on social media, Ronaldo is seen skipping over the Moroccan Prince. If the FIFA President didn’t remind Ronaldo of the presence of the young prince, the Real Madrid player would not have greeted him.
To make things worse, a few seconds later, Ronaldo refused to shake hands with Michelle Platini, President of the UEFA, the European football governing body.
