?Rabat- King Mohammed VI is expected to meet French President, Francois Hollande, on Monday in Paris, a trusted source told Morocco World News.
The meeting will take place at 5 pm local time in the Elysee Palace. The Moroccan monarch is in France on a private since last weekend.
The visit came just few days before Moroccan and French governments resumed their judicial cooperation, which was suspended since last March, after year-long tension between the two countries.
The King’s private visit to France was seen as attempt to ease tension and resume diplomatic talks between Rabat and Paris.
Morocco suspended cooperation agreements with France a year ago after French authorities accused Abdellatif Hammouchi, the head of the Moroccan secret services (DGST), of torture.
The judicial move had been prompted by lawsuits filed against the Moroccan official in France by Moroccan activists.
