Rabat- Morocco has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on Friday in Eastern Libya, which claimed the lives of at least 40 victims.
The Kingdom offers its sincere condolences to Libyan authorities and families of the victims, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"Morocco expresses its full solidarity with Libya in its fight against terrorism, which poses a threat to its security and stability, and constantly stands with the brotherly Libyan people to face this scourge, overcome this critical period and achieve their aspirations for democracy and development.
Morocco reiterates its rejection of terrorism in its different forms, which constitutes a real threat to international peace and security, and calls for promoting cooperation and coordination of international efforts to face this scourge, which contradicts all religions and international principles and laws.
