Rabat - Two armed men allegedly armed with explosives were killed after exchanging gunshots with security guards outside an exhibit of artistic depictions of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which was recognized in Texas on Sunday evening by Pamela Geller, a conservative blogger, known for her anti-Islamic positions.
“Two males drove up to the front of the building in a car as today’s Muhammad Art Exhibit event at the Curtis Culwell Center was coming to an end,” the City of Garland, Texas Government wrote on its Facebook page.
The same source confirmed that both armed men “were both shot and killed.”
The attack happened shortly after Geert Wilders, a notorious anti-Islam Dutch politician, had delivered his keynote speech while the event was drawing to an end.
The Dutch leader of the far-right Party for Freedom thanked the American police officer for thwarting the attack.
