Rabat - Like every year on the occasion of Ramadan, Moroccans will have to switch their watches an hour back, as Morocco will return to standard time (GMT) starting from next Sunday June 14.
According to a statement announced by the Ministry of Public Service and Modernization of Administration, the hour will be delayed by 60 minutes on Sunday, June 14, at 3:00 a.m. The hour will, once again, be advanced by 60 minutes on Sunday 19 July at 2:00 a.m, the same source added.
Public administrations are to keep working continuously from 9:00 a.m till 3:00 p.m.
Morocco has been enforcing daylight saving time during summer with an interruption in the fasting month of Ramadan.
