Rabat - Passengers on Royal Air Maroc flights will soon be able to watch movies and listen to music online when RAM introduces in-flight connectivity system which will enable onboard Wi-Fi services.
Morocco's national carrier announced that its entire fleet will be equipped with a Wi-Fi service by the beginning of 2016.
Speaking to news website Telquel, RAM CEO Driss Benhima said that the company will develop a free Wi-Fi service called "Wi-Fi On Stream", a limited internet service that allows passengers to have access to films, music, games, etc. However, passengers will not be able to keep on top of their emails and check their social media accounts.
RAM will also offer wirelessly streamed movies to passengers.
The Moroccan airline said passengers on medium-haul flight would be able to stream TV programs, music or games from the Wi-Fi service to their smart mobile devices.
RAM is also considering the possibility of renting smart portable devices to passengers who do not carry a tablet or a smartphone when they travel.
