Yooz MyPad the new Moroccan made tablet in the market

Taroudant- During the International exhibition of modern technology and computing held on Thursday, November 21, in Casablanca, Disway, the leading distributor of computer hardware in Morocco, announced the launch of the first Moroccan tablet under the name “Yooz” in the Moroccan and Tunisian markets.

Equipped with the latest Cortex A9, 1.6 Ghz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM and a 10-inch IPS screen (1280x800), and running under Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system’s most recent Google created especially for tablets, MyPad has all the features that are required for office work and Internet connection with 3G, similar to the applications available in the famous American and Asian brands.

The tablet has a wide selection of pre-installed applications and utilities including multi-language virtual keyboard, Kingsoft Office, Facebook, Google Chrome, Gmail, Youtube, and other useful applications with the possibility to download a large number of applications available on Android Market.

"With nearly 80,000 units sold per year in Morocco, the tablet market is experiencing remarkable growth. Our brand is positioned as a trademark offering products of quality, reliable and with reasonable prices for Moroccan consumers," says Karim Radi Benjelloun, CEO of Disway.

"The Yooz products are available through our extensive network of resellers and will be promoted via a cross-media communication campaign that will start running in December" says Anas Benjelloun, Marketing Manager and board member of Disway.

The demand for tablets is remarkably increasing and experts predict a growth of nearly 80% on the tablet market worldwide in 2017.
