Casablanca- According to Moroccan daily newspaper Assabah, the body of a 13-year-old girl, who was raped, tortured then murdered, was recently found in a farm in Moulay Yacoub, located in the region of Fès-Boulemane, Morocco.
A girl aged 13 years old was found dead in a farm located in the small city of Moulay Yacoub. According to daily Assabah, the farm, located in a village called Oulad Mimoun, belongs to a Moroccan politician.
According to the same source, the young girl had been violently raped and tortured before she was dropped dead in the said farm. Local Police also found physical signs of severe torture on her body. Inspections of the corpse showed that the murderer had used a knife to torture his victim.
Around forty people, mainly residents of Oulad Mimoun village, were interrogated during police investigations, which led to the arrest of a 30-year-old man suspected of committing the crime.
According to Assabah, the suspect, who works as a butcher in the village, admitted having committed the crime. The suspect told the Police that he had kidnapped the young girl on a public road while she was trying to take a bus to school.
The suspect also admitted having raped the girl in an orange field not far from the location where her body was found. The suspect allegedly made use of one of his butchering knives to torture the 13-year-old girl while raping her, before dropping her dead.
