Rabat- France's President Francois Hollande announces split with partner Valerie Trierweiler, according to AFP.
The French President told AFP on Saturday that his “shared life” with Valerie Trierweiler has come to an end.
“I announce that I ended the common life I shared with Valérie Trierweiler,” the French President was quoted by AFP as saying.
According to the French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, François Hollande and Valerie Trierweiler, who lived the past few days in the presidential residence of La Lanterne in Versailles, near Paris, settled the terms of their separation on Thursday over lunch.
