Rabat- After its alleged failure to convince French coach Herve Renard to lead the Moroccan national team in preparation for the upcoming African Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Morocco next year, the Moroccan Football Federation is moving forward to name Mohamed Fkahir as new coach of the Altas Lions.
According to the Moroccan daily Al-Massaa newspaper, Mohamed Fakhir is believed to be appointed officially news coach of the Moroccan national team. The officials of the Moroccan Football have proposed to Fakhir to take the destiny of the national team and he welcomed the offer.
The same source added that Mohamed Fakhir had refused an offer from Wydad Club Athletic of Casablanca, in order to make himself available for the Moroccan Football Federation.
